What size practices does MBC serve?
We serve practices ranging in size from hospital-based group practices to individual solo practices. No matter the size of your practice, we ensure you will receive the highest level of customer service and support.
How would the information from our practice be transferred to MBC for billing purposes?
Dependent on the location of your practice, the documentation requirements and patient volume we will customize a process to transfer information via a courier, mail, fax or E-Mail.
What type of financial reports are provided? And at what frequency?
MBC offers customized reports for each individual practice according to individual needs. Standard reports that are generated monthly are the Practice analysis, Procedure code day sheet, Payment day sheet and Monthly activity summary.
Is MBC HIPPA compliant?
Yes. MBC is fully compliant with the current HIPAA requirements. Additionally, we remain up-to-date in regards to coding and billing, utilizing tools such as the Federal Register and the Correct Coding Initiative. We also stay educated and informed with all individual insurance carrier information, newsletters and updates.
Will my patient’s confidentiality be breached by outsourcing to your company?
What are MBC’s fees?
Our fees are dependent upon on the size and specialty of the practice. We provide service based on a percentage based pricing structure, starting at 6%. If you would like quote please call or email us and we will gladly provide one for you.
Where does the patient call if they have a billing question?
All calls are handled by our patient account representatives here in our office at 509-737-1492.
How quickly can you begin billing?
Upon receipt of all necessary information regarding the practice and providers and assuming all contracts are up-to-date it can take as little as 1-2 weeks to set up our billing system. Filing claims on paper begins immediately after that and continues while we then proceed through the electronic claims submission application process which can take 2-4 weeks.
How do we get started?
MBC will provide you with all of the necessary forms and information requirements you will need to get started. After a detailed cost analysis and evaluation of your specific needs we will proceed accordingly. A smooth transition is our main goal.
